Default leather seat repair

The bottom half of my drivers seat is in rough condition. I just got off the phone with a leather repair shop. He said I'm probably looking at $225-350 to replace it. Anybody know if this is a average price or not?

Just about normal. Start taking better care of your leather, mine is 9 years old with no wear. Use saddle soap and lexol twice a year to keep this from happening.

Well, when you get ready to get into good running condition, get back to me and I'll walk you thru servicing it.

To repair your leather seat you will need to call a furniture repair shop.

I'm not sure if a furniture repair shop would work on a vehicle, I've been calling auto upholstery shops.

go to leatherrepairkits.com. They have a selection of automotive colors and LR is in there.
I used it on a couch that was cat scratched and it worked pretty well for only $50. You just
have to take your time & follow the instructions.

I'm sure that anyone who works leather will do the job if you just bring them the seat leather cover.
