Left Front window regulator install tips needed
2003 North American D2.
Installed a new window regualator (Britpart/Allmakes).
Swapping the motor was not an issue.
Installed the window regulator per the Atlantic British YouTube video. All was well until I tried to raise it and the motor give the sound but the window does not go up. Per the Atlantic British video you don't have to worry about the orientation of the window regulator when installing the motor.
Helped the glass all the way up and I was hoping it would be "in synch." Window rolls down but not back up.
I'm hoping there is some tip to get the motor and the regulator to start working together.

What prompted you to replace the regulator? I infer you reused the old motor.
In my truck, the motor would run in both directions, but the window would go down only, not up. That was because there is a plastic "hub" inside the motor that shears apart. There's enough friction left to hold the window in place, but not enough to raise the window. AlexM had the same problem a few years ago.
You can check this by popping off the metal cap on the motor. Here's a link to a short video I made 5½ years ago.

Sounds like you got it all back together ok. There is no syncing of the motor. The circuit senses increased load when the window reaches the top or bottom of its travel and cuts power. Unless the window frame or window is installed crooked it should go up unless the motor is on its way out.
mln01 you were correct.
After looking at your video and post I checked out my window regulator and the nylon wheels were fine. I had ordered a new window regulator without checking it first since that is the most common failure part.
I was able to source another gear mechanism and swapped it with the one connected to my motor and the window is all fixed now.
Thanks for the help.
I have not put on the door panel back on. What are thoughts on putting grease in the channel where the nylon wheels are. Does not seem to be much grease at all with the replacement regulator. I did put a bunch on the gears.
