Thanks again for all the insight. Is it common to swap the bags out for coils? Looking for new bags I see that there are a lot of coil conversion kits.

Stay with your air bags and look into replacing the old ones with a new set from Arnott Industries, they have a life time warranty, better design and cost less then new Rover brand bags.

OK Found the Arnott industries website. Their air shocks are indeed less very price competitive compared to OEM. Looks like a reasonably straightforward procedure. Might as well change the regular shocks as well since they are also original... :-)
