Air suspension pump went there. Should be left side though...
Was a perfect place to put my water pump
Yes, mounted on the left side, under the drivers seat. For some reason I thought the air compressor for the air suspension was in the engine bay.
Oh well, I have one. I thought it would be a good place to put a windshield washer bottle since I have removed mine for the install of an off road bumper.
I have something on the right (passenger side) frame rail where that bracket is. I always thought it was part of the ACE system but haven't looked at it super close. Mine actually makes a sound every minute or so when the vehicle is running as if it is releasing pressure. Would make sense if it were the air suspension pump, as mine was swapped to coils at some point.

The air pump under the hood is for the secondary air injection for emissions....
Here's a better look at the airbag compressor box and the inside of it. I just pick one from an HSE at the junkyard for $20. I put a Harbor Freight regulator on it and plan to use for airing up my tires on the trail. The only problem is that I need to bend the bracket back into place from my last trail adventure when I dragged the bottom of the truck over some big rocks...
That's an even better idea than putting the washer bottle there as I had previously thought of doing. When you get the compressor configured, post up you build on with pictures.
