On my way home from work this evening, as I was pulling out of the Plaza parking lot at my work, there was a very loud rattle sound when I went over the speed bumps. It did it a couple other times when I would hit some unavoidable bumps in the road. Just started today. Any Ideas????
Hope I'm not wearing you folks out, but I love this forum....almost an addict!!!! All the threads are very informative and gives me alot better insight on my disco.............[sm=icon_rock.gif]
Oh yeah....my other mysterious sound is a chirp coming from passenger side vent.Did it a while back, then it stopped...now its back again?????

Sounds like you may have a loose heat shield.A quick inspection by your local muffler shop(or by yourself if you're willing to crawl under for a "tap and wiggle test") will say for sure.Heat shields are not a big deal whatsoever and are usually a cheap repair.As for the "chirp" from your passenger side vent.........You Got Squirrels!

Your chirp is most likely something that is caught in your blower motor.
As already mentioned, you may have a heat shield rattle, you need to crawl under the truck and start checking to find it.
