I have a bone stock 96 Discovery. 4 weeks ago I put a OME lift on it, shocks & springs.
I had 235/70R/16 tires, I went to 245/75R/16.

I love it.. It not only looks better, but you gain a nice amount of clearance with it.
I must admit It's a ruffer ride with no load in it which is ok with me as I will be loading it down
with camping & hunting gear.

I installed this myself took me 8 hours in my garage...a few food & bathroom breaks
maybe some beer.

I live in Colorado & can't think of any reason not to add this lift.
You may want a gear change though...I know I do.
