Default Lift finally done!

After having the parts for months I finally got around to putting my 2” TF lift kit on. I used D1 spring perches for n the back so technically it’s 2.5” in the back but I usually have the back loaded up so I think it’s going to help a lot keeping things level. Some thoughts:
1) One of the front shock tower nuts was seized so I was unable to remove the tower so I had to get real creative with some zip ties to compress the shock as far as it would go before it could squeeze in.
2) I had to use a spring compressor even though I tried to use the “bottle jack method” to get enough clearance, I just couldn’t make it work. Thankfully I had to compress the springs just a little bit.
3) I had never worked on any suspension before so I was nervous going in but the job wasn’t bad at all, there are so many good resources in this forum and out on YouTube that I would encourage anyone to undertake the job.

The tires are OK. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t have enough experience with off road tires to give good context but here’s what I can tell you from my experience:
1) My D2 is a “budget build.” I try to do everything myself on it as an experience and to save money, in that regard the price is certainly right for the TreadWright Wardens
2) My off roading is moderate and sporadic at best and they’ve always done the trick.
3) My wear seems pretty good, the don’t claim to last a lot of miles but my truck is a weekend plaything so even 30k miles will last me a long period of time.
4) I feel like they are heavy and need more weight than usual to balance but not so much as it’s an issue. I haven’t looked it up so I don’t actually know if they are significantly heavier than a “new” tire but if they are the additional unsprung weight is never good for fuel economy and performance of any kind.
5) I’ve had mine on the truck for 10, maybe 15k miles and they still have the “vent spews” (aka the little rubber strands) on the sidewall of the tire, I’ve never seen the last that long on any other tire.
6) They squeak a little at low speeds, like sneakers on a wet floor, which again, while odd doesn’t seem to effect anything.
7) I’ve head that the TW tires can be hit or miss, mine all seem to be hits with no problems.
