I have a light for under my hood, it is black, heavy and takes 4 "D" cell batteries, and can be used to club a polar bear to death if I get hungry.

 

I always like this setup on my Chevrolet trucks. Found a new one on Ebay, for 1/3 of the price. It comes with harness, and only needs fused power and ground. It has its own on/off switch built in and the light has 18' retractible cord with magnetic mount on the end. If I find the light is not bright enough, will go with LED replacement bulb.




When it gets here, will find appropriate mounting location and post some pics.
