Default Lights?

I have a TC in a circle , thinking traction control, came on when tire hit some snow when exiting driveway and gave a buzz noise, is that normal? Also, "service engine soon" light is on, but previous owner said its been checked, been on for a year with nothing wrong, is this common? last one is SRS light is on and would like to see how to turn it off. Basically I would like all lights off and will do what needs to be done to get them to go. Not bad only 2 lights on but it bugs me. thanks for any help.

You should get the check engine light read and see what it is (no it isn't normal in any car) . Again SRS code needs to be read, it could be anything to a bad connection in your seat belt, a frayed wire or something else.

If the TC light comes on it means the system is working (and the buzzing is normal) and like I said on the last post, if it is always on it means there is a problem.

Most standard scan tools can't pull the TC/ABS/HDC/SRS codes . You will need a higher end tool or something more specific.

I use an Autel AL 619 for my codes. Another popular model is the hawkeye(pricey haha)

Your standard scan tool will pull the check engine codes, and you can come back here or look them up for more details.

Where are you located? There are forum members all across the country that have the correct scanners. Some are willing to read your codes for you for free. Also, SOME parts stores will read them if they have the correct scanner.

I am in Ontario Canada. I would love to meet somebody from somewhere even close so I could get everything checked out and safe. If anybody has a link to 2 or 3 code readers it may be prudent to grab one as I plan to own her for a long time and it may pay itself off in time.

Again I use the Autel AL 619 (they go for like $160 off google shopping) and when you recieve it you need to update the firmware then it will have the LR specific codes for the ABS/TC/HDC/SRS
