I would love to get myself an army/overland trailer one day. One about the size of a full truck bed, that would be an option to. Store several jerry cans in there if i wanted, plus other supplies.

Slightly off the original topic but once you make the big bucks and are ready for that overland trailer, here ya go...

Moby1 Expedition Trailers LLC

I have no affiliation nor can I afford one but it is damn cool!

those are very nice. needs a more articulating hitch. I have been building one, but just platform/tent top style.

Dusty, I read the story about that trailer over on expeditionportal and thought about building one similar. I wouldn't have all the cool cabinetry, but would like a relatively secure sleeping compartment with a real mattress. What are you using for the wheels/suspension/frame?

I built the frame (3x3 @ 1/4" with 3x3 @ 3/16. a few cross members are 2x2 @ 3/16)bought the articulating hitch/tongue to use.
I got d2 axle and plan to link and coil it. trying to keep as many part interchangeable as possible. tires and wheels, as well.
project is on hold due to stupid stupid work. I have been photo'ing and keeping track, but wanted to get done er before I start boasting and posting.

Ive seen some folks use the shell from a Disco or RRC for a overland trailer..... I would not mind a Series 130 truck bed overland setup complete with overhead tent and awning and plenty of storage space.
