Default Longer shocks?

I know this is the Disco section, but I all the experts seem to be here. Need help with a issue. I have a 99 p38 that has the coil spring conversion done. I have put 3.5” blocks under the Springs to give it a 3.5” lift. Everything looks and works great except I don’t have enough Shock travel. When the suspension is rebounding from a bump there is a sharp thump when the shock reaches it maximum extension. I woulf like to know where I could find some shocks that will bolt up that are about 4 to 6 inches longer than stock height shocks. What would be great is if some stock shocks off another vehicle are longer and will bolt up. Cheap is good! Anyone have any leads?

When I lifted 3.5" I just welded on some longer shock tabs to lower the shock mount. Just an idea.

Some info and pics re: P38 lift you might find useful here under "Tech Articles"
