Seems like everyone and thier mother in my town drives a truck... and I hate driving what everyone else has. So I was looking at a 95 LR discovery near me for 5100$. 4x4, Leather, ac, 134K. The vehicle seems to be clean as could be, no dents or major scratches. I have only driven Chevy and Dodge, so I dont know the first thing about this rover. I am being told that upkeep is rediculously expensive... even heard that a dealer has to do things as simple as change the oil. That doesnt sound like it makes too much sense to me. Anyways... some input would be great. I am a little above average when it comes to doing my own maintenence. I like to be able to do my own oil, brakes, tires, radiators.

Whatever you have for me would be greatly appreciated.
