Default Looking at Buying a 2018 Discovery HSE Luxury – Need Advice

Hi everyone,

I’m considering buying a 2018 Land Rover Discovery HSE Luxury. I really like the look, comfort, and towing capability, but I’ve heard mixed things about reliability.

Can any current or past owners share their experience

I would not recommend it. You are past warranty. I just traded in my 2018 Discovery, and in the past year, I had almost $20,000. worth of repairs. $12,000. (Control arms, Super Charger, Motor Mounts, all cooling system hoses, etc.) then $7,000. for AC repairs, (evaporator & Compressor). The AC repair was the last drop.... My wife and I really enjoyed our Disco, but these are not vehicles to own without warranty, unless you have a lot of money to spare on repairs, or the vehicle is paid for, and then you work that into your cost of owning....
