Loose wiper motor connection?
There have been a number of thread about this already, but it seems that no one is following up with the results of their troubleshooting.
Anyway, my Disco's wipers have seasonal affective disorder. When it's cold out, the wiperstake their sweet time about deciding when to work.
When I turn the switch, I can hear the relay kick in. In intermittent mode, the relay clicks each time the wipers should be making a pass. And when I wash the windshield, they work so long as I pull the lever.
I'm thinking, then, that I'm not a victim of the chronic wiper switch problem. Rather, the problem is with the motor or somewhere in between.
Once my truck warms up, the wipers eventually start working. This makes me think that my motor is ok, but there's a loose connection perhaps at the plug or internal to the motor.
Doe anyone have any troubleshooting advice to figure out where? Better, anyone have a guranteed method of how to fix it?
Thanks.

Please, please, please when you get this figured out let us know.
WAY to many DII owners have the exact same problem, this should NOT be a problem and I too find it hard to believe that all DII's have bad wiper switches.
