Did you have a cat related error code back before you replaced the o2 sensors?

No Cat codes before. Went ahead and dropped off the truck and the Rover mechanic. I did the test drive with him. He thinks it is transmission related but he wants put it on the computer before diagnosing. Crap, new engine, new transfer case and now the transmission. I did not connect the power loss under load with a transmission issue. Man I hope its not worse case!

PROBLEM SOLVED

Brought it to my Land Rover Mechanic who has the Land Rover Computer and he said it was showing misfires once it reached 2500 RPMS and said unless it continues misfiring that the computer will not store the code. Mine turned out being the plugs not the wires which were relatively new. I had put in Bosch Platinum Plus 4' plugs about 18 months ago and they were the culprit. My Land Rover Mechanic said they were the wrong plug and replaced them. I had selected them based on recommendations from this board. You live and learn. The main lesson learned here is that just because my ultraguage is not showing codes that does not necessarily mean there is not a misfire happening.

So are you going to tell us the name of these magical rover horsepower plugs or are they a secret?

i have tried Bosch Platinum Plus 4' in just about everything, they seem to work great and **** the bed quickly. I never had that problem with regular Boshe platinum just the 4's.
The E-3 seem to run good.

Are you planning on telling us what spark plug your mechanic used to fix the problem or do you not even know?

That's what I was thinking also. I hope we get confirmation. He was quick to trash the +4's but never gave the name of the others. I run +4's so i'd like to know if there's something wrong with them. What plugs do you run Dusty?
