Lost my owners manual quick question on oil change

Ha funny I guess I need to investigate filters a bit more, seems like everyone has their favorite. I bought a Mobile 1 204 as that is what came up in the Autozone computer. I had a 301 and it seemed pretty long I wondered if it would fit up in there. Went with the Mobile 1 10W-30 extended protection this time.
As an aside what do you guys do with all your old oil? I need to find an oil recycling center before I have an exxon valdez here.

AutoZone takes waste oil, as well as all of the quick lubes, and they all get paid for their waste oil so dont let them try and fool you.
Take your empty oil bottles and stick one upside down inside another, let it drain over night, keep doing this until you have drained them all into one "empty" one, you will recup a good half a quart of oil.
51515 is written down and going in the glove box for futrure reference.

Wix and Baldwin/Hastings's (who make their own filters) main markets are commercial where down time is very costly and where the operators rely on quality filters to help them go that 500k - 1 million mile distance between engine rebuilds.
