It dont over heat now, at lease that my gauge is working and stays in the normal range. I cant figue it out. What system will kill the engine like that? I'm trying to get all the bugs out before hitting the trails. Please help me!!!!!!

Fuel temp sensor.
When was the last time you had a tune up?

What kind of air filter do you have? Also, look for a box under the passenger side seat and see if you have any numbers displayed on the LED screen...

The air filter isn't a k&n. Regular a guess. What does the fuel temp sensor do?

How do you read the display under the seat?

Did you read the tech section on atlanticbritish.com?
The fuel temp sensor tells the ECUwhat the temp of the fuel going to the engine is. When these go bad they can cause "hot run" problems.

What about your fuel filter, when was it last changed? Might also want to replace your fuel pump relay, common problem.
Start running high octane or you will carbon up that engine and possibly do valve damage, on the good side, you will get about 2 more MPG and better performance.
Let me know if you can't find how to read the codes and I will send you a link.

Check fuel pressure and make sure you have stock cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. I have seen fuel pumps slowly go bad, as well as aftermarket ignition parts cause no-starts and the like, just like you are describing.
