I may be wrong on what year DII's have the "CDL GUTS". I 100% sure that the 03's do not. So YOUR option is a full t-case swap or the conversion I did. I bought my housing from http://toddcosuspensions.com/diiilodi.html

You may find it cheaper to buy a used t-case but make sure you know it's in GOOD condition. The full swap may be an easier install too. but I had no other option.

The Discovery used the same transfer case for the entire run (94-04 here in the states). D1s and D2s 99-mid 01 all had the CDL installed in the t-case, but the D2 did not have the shift linkage. 04 also has CDL with the shift linkage like a D1.
