I installed the unit and ALMOST everything works. So far I have found that my CD player does not receive power. I don't play CD's but the way I have my audio set up, I need the CD player to power up so that the head unit will accept audio from the lines. If the head unit does not see a CD player, it won't offer that input.

I suppose I need to find a switched power source under the passenger seat. I am considering tapping the seat heater switch for switched power.

FWIW, this is for my 1997 D1 although this thread is in the D2 section.
