Default Lug Extenders?

I've got a Cam Can spare gasoline tank that mounts through the long lug bolts of the spare tire on an old Jeep CJ-5 so that when you are out in the backwoods and run out of fuel, you've got a spare can of gasoline back riding "on" your spare tire.

It mounts up perfectly on the spare tire lug bolt pattern of my Disco 2!

Of course, the Disco 2's spare tire mount's lug studs are too short. They don't go entirely through the spare wheel. The spare wheel lug nuts screw in recessed.

So to get this spare gas tank onto my Disco 2, I need wheel stud extenders for my spare tire mount. They've got to pass through the entire width of the spare wheel so that the Cam Can mount will have something to attach to.

Surely such lug/stud extenders exist! Does anyone know the stud thread and size? Do they match other vehicles?

Any knowledge regarding the above would be appreciated.

Never heard of such a thing. You can hammer out the old lug nuts and put in some longer ones, though.
