Default magnecor 8mm or 8.5mm ?

So i am finally going to switch magnecor wires and those bosch plugs that everyone is raving about, but do i get 8 or 8.5 mm. I have an 03 disco with 80,000 miles on it. Also i saw magnecor wires for 111.00$ on LRRforums, is that a good price or can i do better and where, thank you for all that advice. Oh Yeh i hear alot about how easy it is to install the wires but no one has answered a curious question that i read and that is Do You Remove the hood ? thank you Caleb

I started to get the 8.5mm since they didn't cost that much more, but read something negative about them for use with rovers (i forget what it was now) so i went with the 8mm.

edit..oh i remember..they're too thick to fit in the grommets.
