If you remove the O-Ring you will find the rear spacer/collar piece. That is what the Auto Zone 231052 Pulley sits on. That should fit perfectly, then re-install the bolt, front washer, rear spacer/collar, and the O-Ring (just there to keep it all together nicely), then tighten the 13mm bolt down.

I actually just did this job on my 02 Kalahari this evening. The Auto Zone 231052 = perfect fit & no issues. Was like 16.00 out the door. When I drove the Kalahari over the weekend it was squeaking just a tiny bit so I replaced it.

Nope I have all the pieces the collar and all. The actual bolt size was to small

I did some more digging and found a continental part number at Canadian tire. Fit nice

good thing I decided to do this maintenance because the 70 mm pulley was it real bad shape. Like really hard to spin

I checked the Dayco website and they show 89052 as a 70mmx27mm pulley... 89052

I did see that as well. Not sure what was going on at my parts supplier
Parts supplier around here are totally useless. If they can’t see it on the computer they have no will or want to go any further to help.

Following up on this old thread I'm using the dayco 89052 but it looks like the front big washer rubs against the pulley itself. Can I just use the bolt with the collar from the back that sits in the bearing and holds it firm or is that not enough?

Is this the same one as the Dayco?
I bought the Dayco and the front Flange/washer/collar of the old pulley rubs against the new pulley so it doesn't spin freely. Has anyone had that happen?

Atlantic British sells all the pulleys required
next time I’ll just use them. Because I found it’s a pain to source them locally.
