Default RE: major engine problem

Here are few suggestions for misfires:

-Faulty spark plug or wire
-Faulty coil (pack)
-Faulty oxygen sensor(s)
-Faulty fuel injector
-Burned exhaust valve
-Faulty catalytic converter(s)
-Running out of fuel
-Poor compression
-Defective computer

Since you have replaced the catalytic converter(s), that is not it. Since the happens on multiple cylinders, it is probably not the Fuel Injector(s) or Burned Exhaust Valves. I think I would check the following:

- Fuel Rail Pressure
- Cylinder Compression

If you can find a cheap used computer, you MAY try switching that out as well. Also, if you have a way to check the O2 sensor switching, that would be very helpful. My guess (and this is only a guess) is that your O2 sensors are going out...
