Default Manifold to y-pipe gasket leaks

I've replaced, tightened, retighten. Still leaks. The gasket is like two thin pieces of metal crimped together. Is there alternatives or how to fix leak?

Default Try this one.

Try this one.

Works on mine really well. I forgot that my truck can sound quiet.

Is the pipe flange parallel with the manifold mounting surface before you put the gasket in?
How are your motor mounts?

Best I can tell all is in good alignment. Very easy to line the pipe up and slips right on the studs. Maybe I need to drop the whole pipe and clean the surface?

Just thinking out loud - could you double-gasket this joint? Maybe that would address a larger than normal gap between the manifold and the Y-pipe.

yes, clean it and don't tighten one side. Take your time and do patterns on the studs left and right side till it is in place. Then tighten all the way using a pattern

Yep, did that first time. Kept it all even while tightening. I hate exhaust work, usually never goes well
