i had the arb and the grate in the front breaks up the rain it hits the back of the intake and there are drains placed around the cap that allow the rain to drip out... at least thats what they say.. personally i turned the top backwards to prevent water and excessive dust and dirt to get in.

 

turn the snorkel the correct way and you wont have an issue.

 

I did not have any issues but I ran it sideways.
The one in the picture was one of the first ones before they powder coated them in black.
