Default Master cylinder rebuild/SS Brake Lines/Bleeding with ABS

I have a lot of work on my '03, imagine that, and installed the master cylinder kit, and have changed the rear brake lines to stainless steel.

We tried to wire the ABS Pump to bleed them at the relay. We got the abs to pump, but it would not push out fluid. The key was in the 2nd position. and we bridged the power in the relay.

I won't have time to get an Autocom, and we bled the rear brakes just pumping the pedal. Which was very stiff at that point. On test drive it was soft. We are still bleeding the front two after swapping out those lines, and will activate the abs system somehow and re-bleed.

Does anyone know what I did wrong bleeding with he ABS pump? I did not bench bleed the master cylinder after the rebuild. As I understand I need to pump with the ABS pump to clear out all of the air

go back and start with bench bleeding the master, them manually bleed from the master to the ABS pump, after that you can bleed by jumping the ABS pump to bleed the rear lines

How do I do that? I will see if i can find instructions. Taking the master out should not be difficult.

I beleive that there are instructions on how to bench bleed on line, but how do I manually bleed from the master to ABS pump? Through brake calipers?

I did SS lines, new master, etc on my truck. The ABS pump will eventually start pushing fluid, it just takes a while. I'll bet if you were to go back now you'd find that it's moving fluid. I think I was on my second time around the car manually bleeding before I could turn on the ABS pump and see it actually move fluid.

follow the two lines from the master to the ABS pump and bleed the lines before the pump

Thanks guys. I am guessing that I will need a tool to do that Drowssap. Sorry, I have always done it from the pedal. Seeing how I am going to autozone about twice a day I will see if they have something.

have someone climb in the truck and pump up the pedal.

open and bleed the brake line before it goes into the ABS pump so that your not pushing air thru the pump.

once you have manually bleed the master and the lines going to the pump,
then you could use the pump to continue bleeding if you wish or continue bleeding manually.

but if you try and push the air from the master threw the system and out the bleeder, it will take forever, and i dont know if you will ever get a good pedal. jmho
