As to the abrasion of your post, I didn't waste 17hrs I wasted an hour, 5 minutes here and there with failed Google searches before deciding to ask an expert such as yourself. Oh and wheel track is center of wheel to center of wheel so if you measured yours a little arithmeticwowould've provided the answer.

Yes, I hauled mine in a U-haul double axle for 300 miles with no problems. When you go and rent the dolly don't tell them is for a Land Rover, I told them I was towing a 2006 Honda Civic 2 door and used a Ford Excursion 4WD. I was told at the renting place that you can't not tow a Land Rover with the Excursion that I had to rent one of their trucks (bull****)so I went to another renter and told them about the Civic. Just make sure you strap all four wheels because if you don't you could get a ticket, besides it is safer.

Yeah I noticed on their website I would be a couple lbs overweight, figured I'd tell
them I was hauling my wife's altima. Gonna rig up some extended wire turn signals to duct tape in the rear window and shoe polish "IN TOW" signage, should be good to go.
