Default Mechanic did pressure test on cooling system using compressor

I went to mechanic to check if there are any leaks on my cooling system because Disco losing coolant.
My expansion tank cap is worn, so I tought to order it but wanted to do pressuere test so I can order other parts if needed.

Mechanic removed pipe from expansion tank, took compressor pipe on that pipe to check for leaks , and there was no leak.

I tought he will do simple pressure test, that my old mechanic would do, and not use compressor.

Coolant level is higher that before he have done that, although he spilled some of coolant (because he put air in it?).

Do I have air, now in my system because how he done that, and how to check?

I would not allow him to do pressure test that way but I had phone call, stepped outside because it was noisy.

Please, any advice would be nice.

Thanks

Bleed it. You'll be fine. Run at idle, then park vehicle with expansion tank higher than rest of vehicle.

idiotic way to test for coolant leaks. don't go back to that nimrod. i agree with the previous poster, give it a good bleed, see that the level is on the mark and roll with that. good luck
