I tried to fire up my copy of Microcat today and got this message. I know about needing to set the system clock on my computer back to 2005 or so. (It now reads November 4, 2005.) I've done that successfully for several years now and its worked beautifully but I never seen or heard of this error message. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a workaround? Is there a newer version of Microcat available to us? Thanks.

 

I rebooted to Windows (XP with all the final fixes), started opened a command prompt as administrator, set the system date to 10/31/2009 and launched microcat without issue.
I am running the 2009 version, which is what I've used for the past 2 0r 3 years at least.
If that's not what you have you could google microcat 2009.

 

Well, that was easy. Turns out I was apparently being too aggressive with my Wayback Machine. I changed the date to September 2006 and all is fine. Thanks.
