Well im half way finished gears are out everything is cleaned up and ready to go back in. My question is ive got the gear/diff that was in my vehicle and the gear/diff that was in the other transfer case I took the nose off of and was wondering which one to use. The shifter fork looks better on my transfer case, the gear sets look about the same wear, the only difference is one spins easier than the other, is that a good think or a bad thing?

Also there is no wires attached to let the vehicle know that the cdl is locked. Im guessing ill have to run some?

When I swapped mine I just used the set with the lowest mileage. You'll probably have to tap into one of the wires under the center console for the light. From what I recall the wire for the diff lock circuit is black/blue.

 

Thanks i did see that after more research, but it was for a 2003, im guessing the 02 will be the same. Think ill used the existing one since i know it works fine.
