Default misfire with codes

2003 Disco with 150,000 miles. Just started this am with misfires. Always run premium gas. I have owned for 1 year and have not done a tune up. Wires look to be Magnacor 9mm, but I have no idea how old. With my Ultragauge I was getting codes, 0301, 0306, 1300, and 1590. Since it was -15 degrees out this am, I dropped it off to a local shop for them to do the trouble shooting. After checking in, they found that cylinders #1 and #6 had no spark as a result of a bad coil. According to the codes, does this sound right? I hate to start replacing parts and not replace the right ones. Thanks for your help.

so 1 and 6 are on the same coil block, there are two, on the top row so that does sound highly possible, to replace the coil is a time consuming job so you should consider doing both sides and wires since they are their.

p1300 is a random misfire code, so it is related to the coil pack

p1590 is an ABS fault code and not related

Thanks for the input. Just making sure nothing else is causing this before I tear into it.

What parts should I order, plugs, wires, 2 coils, and intake gasket?

That's a good shopping list. You should also have some vacuum hose available to repair the leaks that will crop up during your repair. There are hard plastic vacuum tubes behind the upper intake manifold and mine were pretty brittle. I replaced sections of one that broke with the small black plastic vacuum hose from the auto parts store.
