hi all ive got a 2003 disco 154.000 miles. engine light came on flashing with a slight skip checked codes and it said o2 sensors replaced both up stream cleaned maf and valve. cleared codes and restarted then got misfire codes nothing else. i replaced both coils 6 months ago and used NAPA top line plug wires plugs are autolight i have visually checked all vacuum lines carefully.plugs?change to bosch?thanks for any suggestions

 

Not sure this is your case, but if you can confirm that the misfire is not being caused by your coils, wires, or plugs, could be a blown head gasket that is pulling in oil on the downstroke and causing the misfire.

I bought a car that had flashing SES light and was misfiring, it was the head gaskets.

Is there a misfire code for a specific cylinder? Can you check compression on that one, or if not specific, all of them?
