Default Misfire only on drivers side

The codes i have are a P0300, P1300, P0301, P0303, P0305, and a P0307.
no CAT codes have popped up. My question is what could be causeing the issue. I've already replaced the plugs and wires, i do have the traditional valve cover leak on both sides of the engine, and upon removal of the old plugs both the drivers side and the passenger side showed the same coloration. The engine itself has a little over 180k on it. compression test will be done on it this fallowing weekend. and there is no sign of coolent in the chambers. Could the small coolent leak on the intak be causeing this issue for me, or is it the O2 sensors giveing a false reading on that side. I've checked the forum for similar issues but nobody has posted an exact fix for it. i have no problem turning wrenches on this vehicle. already burnt my arm fixing the propshaft on the front.

I was thinking coil packs origionally, the issue i see with that. is that on a disco2
the 1,3,5,7, are on two different coils. or is a possibility the i have both coils going out at the same time?

A view in total darkness at idle may reveal arcs (boots, wires, plugs, coil packs). Keep dreadlocks out of the fan belt.....

Could also be wiring to the coil packs from the ECU.

Yeah I thought coils initially but remembered that they're on different packs, which is why I edited my comment.

Ill check for the light show tonight, if the rain slows down. If it comes down to the wire harness going to the coil packs, how hard are those to track down. Electrical and me arent really the best of friends. But i have no problem working on it. Could the coils themselves be giving me issues only on those coils do to the fact of haveing the oil leaks from the valve covers that rolls back towards the coils?

So the news isnt shaping up to be good so far. No light show under the hood when i checked it last night. i did manage to get a better code reader plugged in today before work, to see if there was anymore codes that have popped up. its still just the same codes. so im alittle stuck on this one for now.

So after haveing a live read of codes and O2 sensors, its looking like my driver side O2s are wigging out. The passenger side is reading normall specs while the driver side ones are all over the place. my upper O2 is telling me there is low voltage and the after cat one is dumping fuel into the driver side bank. Looks like ill be under the hood again this weekend working on my landy again.

going to bump this thread, I've talked to multiple shops up here in the bellingham area. And they all say the same thing. "bring it in and we will have to run mulitple diaginostics on it to find out what is going on." the list of replaced parts is getting pretty big. already installed new wires, changed the O2 sensors out, replaced the plugs again, re-tightned the valve cover gaskets cleaned to coil packs, and even cleaned the throttle body out. ran sea-foam in the tank and in the vacuum system. im running out of things to check. the codes are still the same as originally. and the compression is good. its getting to the point where im about ready to take it out back and put it down like a lame horse.

This has been a semi-common problem that has shown up on a couple of the Rover forums over the last year or so, it will occur on either bank, it is not plug, wire. coil or 02 sensor.
People who have had this happen to them have never replied to what was wrong and the fix required.
Let us know what you finally find as the cause and fix.
