Smile missfire

Hi

i have 2002 disco 2, i have a miss fire at low engagement and at 60kmh and over 100kmh.

I have checked

fuel pump pressure - good
compression tests twice - good

changed ht leads
changed plugs

no engine faults

now spent 700 bucks trying to find fault.

my best guess (and i am not the person doing the charging here) fuel injectors? any thoughts...getting to end of my patience. many thanks

What kind of plug wires did you put on the vehicle? I saw a set of 7mm wear out after less than 10k miles. I would go out at dark and spritz a little water on the plugs and see if I can see an arc. Worth a try and could save you a pile of money.

I was misfiring also after 2 new sets of wires and plugs and the problem was that one of the wires was burning up due to where I had it resting. When I moved the wire the misfire stopped.
