Default Missfire and oil burn

This morning i started my disco one. I noticed it was not running smooth so i went to the exhause to see if it was missfireing, it was and also buring oil. Strangely yesterday it was running fine. I went to an auto parts store to get the check engine light readand it said that cylinder multiple cylinders and cylinder 2 were misfireing. I can't seem to fix it with the common causes like loose spark plug wires. What can I do and why would it burn oil over night. By the way it only has 101543 miles on it and is a 1997.

I wouldn't worry about burning oil. How old are your plugs and wires. You might want to pull the plugs, one at a time and check and see what hole if any is oil fouled.

I am confused by your last post, what did you change today and what tomorrow? What brand of plugs and wires are you planning on using?
