The manual says to remove six inlet manifold bolts but I only had five. It looks like the front bolt is missing. Is that typical or should I plan to replace it?

Since there's a piloting boss in that hole, I'm assuming it does not get a bolt.

 

Yes there are 6 bolts for the upper intake manifold. Not typical.... better get that bolt.

As I recall, there are six bolts, five short and one long. Are all of yours the same length?

 

I had four long and the short one in back. I've got one on order for the front hole now.

As I remember 6. 4 long both middle sides and 2 shot at each end, front and back.
