Default Mobile 1 high mileage oil?

well it's time for my second oil change on the rover. The last time I used mobile 1 full syn and it's been great. 6K miles later the disco has only used about 1 pint and the oil still looks clean. All the store had tonight was mobile 1 full syn high mileage, I can't remember if that's what I used last time. anybody ever used it before?

I used it when I did my first change after buying my rover. Seems like a good oil. Has not burned any oil nor has it leaked any out,,,

My rig has only 53k miles so its low mileage rig, but I am happy with it and would use it again if I can't find amsoil.

Bought 6 qts. of Royal Purple 10w40 yesterday, and had a K&N long filter waiting for when its time to do my oil change. the Royal purple cost me about fifty bucks (yikes) but i like how it goes and my truck seems to love it! my question, is 10w40 a good summer weight? what weight should I use in Winter? i live in NY we get some good winters, some pretty mild...

Here is the price I pay for living in the Virgin Islands.... (at Kmart)

and

And NAPA is about $.20 - $.30 more per quart.
RP at NAPA is $16 per quart.
Gallon of Peak Coolant is $16

I have to take out loans to do Mike's 60k miles service list!

Funny you ask I just topped her off last night with 91 octane...(the highest i have seen down here) $50 for about 21 something gallons.. so $2.30 I think it was.

Gas is not bad down here even though we are slow to rise and fall with the stateside trends.

Oh and cans of seafoam are $15 each! (Thanks NAPA)

But back to the thread.... I use Mobil 1 10w30 Extended Performance I have about 3k on this last oil change and the oil still looks very good. I'm gonna change it this weekend or the next. Any one wanna paypal me $70 for my oil change?

yeah I went with 10W-40. I probably could of got it a few bucks cheaper at walmart but I had to dump 5 gals. of used oil so I went to O'reilly auto parts. $7/QT.
