It doesn't have to be crazy terrain. It just needs to be a situation where a larger vine or limb is held back by a smaller one, you start pushing through and the larger one gets loose after being under tension.

Very Nice.

I picked up a couple of those "dog springs" too and when I have to redo mine for my new winch/bumper I am going to incorporate them as well.
