more misfires
nothing on cyl 1, and the same codes after switching out coilpacks, plus Now I may be wrong, I do not have my coil pack sheet in front of me but I think cyl 3 and 5 are on different packs.. in any case it is driving me nuts...
Yes, that is the exact diagram I used. Should note, the truck runs great most of the time, it just misfires at random times and seems to bog down for a few seconds and the SES light flashes then the truck runs great until it happens again, which could be 2 minutes or 10.
Rtindle, I did it ended up being a sticky lifter well 2 sticky lifters. As it was only happening at speed , i.e.over 50 mph. I went a did the BG engine pre oil change stuff and then added the BG oil additive. that seems to have fixed the issue. Right after I did the oil change, 3 weeks ago I hit the highway for 4 hour run to the mountains and had no issue. well once when I hit about 75, I was not paying attention and with a bunch of vehicles. but as long as I keep her at 65 no issues, in fact I got the best gas milage I have ever gotten on that trip. I do not run this truck very much only about 5-6 hundred miles a month so sometimes it takes me awhile to get around to the final fix or reposting. You said you changed your wires what brand did you use. and what size.
