Default Motor Mounts - What a hassle

It took me 20 minutes for the passenger side mount, and at least 4 hours for the driver side. After trying to get in there with a wrench for an hour and barely moving the nut, I gave up and used a hack saw to cut the bolt and pull the mount out.

Obviously my mounts were destroyed from a previous little accident out in the desert. The new mounts from Atlantic British worked out pretty well.

On another note, after working on a number of things on this motor, it would appear that it really doesn't belong in this vehicle. Anyone know if the diesel is easier to work on? I mean, it really seems that they crammed this thing in there. Really tough to get anything done.

I swear if I didn't like it so much I would push it off a cliff.

Yeah the diesel Fits well. The catch is the price. When I looked into it back in December it would have run me close to $10k.

I just unbolted both and jack the engine as high as it will go... remove passenger side first then drivers, maybe 20min for both, tight drivers side just makes it in.
