Moving to Cold Weather w Disco2. Please help w tips to keep Disco alive
oof. Didn't even think of the washer fluid!
Coat the frame if you are going to be in salt season. Use the Rustoleum rust converter first, then fluid film over that. Inside and out. Get the Eastwood frame spray nozzle tube and spray it inside the frame as well. Your factory bumpers, cowl, and A pillars will likely crack from the temperature extremes and the resulting thermal expansion. Vinyl wrap the A pillars if you want, coat the cowl with the rattle can bedliner spray on the front, if you want you can coat the back with linex or Rhinoliner or some other polyurea bed spray to increase the strength. You can use expanding foam from home depot on the back side of the bumpers to help. No guarantee though, they will still likely crack.
They sell "winter formula" washer fluid, I don't know if its stocked regularly in Florida but it's probably something you could order on amazon until you are able to hit up a Walmart further up north.
