Default Moving truck in middle of HG job

So I'm wrapping up my HG job and still have the upper intake off, along with all the ancillary belt equipment. Anyway I need to move the Rover out of the garage. I still have the battery out, but I left the Rover in Park when I started the job.

Is there anyway to get the Rover in neutral to roll it out?

Lift the plastic shifter base out of the center console. Reach under and feel for the bottom of the shif lever. There is a pin surrounded by an aluminum backet that will depress easily when you push on it. Simultaneously push on it and shift into neutral.

If you cant find it blind just remove the shift **** by pulling up on it (pull hard) and completely remove the base to expose the shifter mechanism

To release the shifter shroud/base thing, squeeze on the sides and pull strait up. Super easy, should take you 30 seconds to get into neutral lol

Since you dont have your battery, I guess you have to follow the King's advice. Mine has the battery when I did it, so just connected it and turn the switch to release the shifter and move the truck. From what was suggested to me during that time, only when any part of the timing chain or cams were not touched and still installed then it can be moved. If not, big problem.

I have done the timing chain, but I figured getting the transmission to neutral and a little steering should affect any engine components.
