asking price 14,500,but I test drove today excellent mecanical condition but interior a bit scuffed.I do not know but I find the D2 interior to not quite hold up as well as the D1 interior specially the suede on the door handles.I think I will pass on this one and keep looking .Thanks guys for your comments and opinions .Keep em coming. Thanks!
One thing to consider is the amount od off roading you plane to do, CDL is really important for those people, like myself, who love the trails. The other consideration on 03's is an issue they had for a while regarding the oil pump/bad oil pressure/engine loss that happened for awhile until Rover made the necessary changes.
Having your Disco for any amount of time and you will
have a hard time getting rid of it for anything else.
You know all the bugs.
There will come a time that I will move on but its not some I want
to think about it makes my head hurt.
To air bag,,, or not to air bag that is the question or is it?

I would shoot for an 04 if there is a good one around, my friend has one and it is by far one of the best years (and last) the disco had. It doesn't have as many kinks as the 03. But of course they are a little more expensive, but it could be worth it in the long run. Then again if you have done your research and found a reliable owner you might be in good shape.
