Mine is a stock 2002.I get 20/21 mpg highway if I stay under 65 mph & ignore the 1 finger salutes on the New Jersey Turnpike!!!

Lightbulb Gas Mileage...amazing!

That's great gas mileage; you'll save lots of money and aggravation with a VW, rather than LR. But, do you consider yourself a traitor?

it would be nice to have a Diesel Disco available in america then i wouldnt complain near as much about the mpg

Ha! Couldn't resist. Every once in a while scale gauge wigs out. The water temp is erroneous too.
