Mpg
Lower your pressure to 35 on all 4 tires dont use shell use Pennzoil 10w-40 just the $12 kind at walmart i use an STP air filter i got at auto zone. Also dont run 89 run 87 or 91 if u run 87 use shell or exxon to get a cleaner fuel if you run 91 or 93 like you are supposed to run the dirtier fuel. what i mean by that is dont use vpower or phillips 66 use somthing like sams club or kum n go. i use kum n go and honestly if you were to go more 70-75 you could save gas or i do at least because i can coast longer and then dont have to accelerate as much and use cruise control it can improve by 2% not much but still helps especially if you do drive 60-65
hmmm... since members have posted about their mph being off from actual (compared to GPS or other means); that would skew mpg figures as well. As for brands of gas, near me everything comes from a single terminal at the port, a large barge of base stock is brought in, and the terminal add a squirt of what ever additive that brand is contracted for to the tank truck to carry off to Exxon, BP, etc. So anywhere near me it is all the same base gas. And, if C store orders too much, the truck company will call around and find another customer who wants a "deal" on say 1000 gallons. So you can't always depend on the C stores to have a consistent level of fuel quality. Won't be worse that regular, might be better. Once you factor water and crud contamination out.
I could only wish for for the lofty heights of more than 12mpg average. I have a 2" lifted 2004 SE7 with BFG A/T's 265/65 R18 and 128K miles. My max hwy mpg is 13. I get a solid 10mpg in city driving. sucktastic.
