Default Multiple Codes

Hi Guys,

I am getting ready to head up to MPLS from Chicago for the Holidays and do a laundry list of stuff to my DII. I am leaving Sunday, and got the following codes the last couple of days.

P0160 - No activity Right Bank o2 sensor came on.

I sprayed some soapy water on the exhaust manifold passenger side yesterday to see if I could detect some leaks. I put some dye in to test the cooling system for leaks last night, test drove it to Menards today and get the following codes.

I also filled up at Costco with 93 Octane, first time.

P1319 - misfire detected with low fuel level
P1300 - Random Multiple cylinder misfire
P0302, P0304, P0308, P0306, these are all cylinder misfires 2,4,6, 8 misfires

What I am wondering is if me spraying soapy water and getting into the spark plugs could cause this, bad gas from Costco, or if I should swap out the O2 Sensor prior to a long drive on Sunday.

What would you guys do?

for sure I'd start by drying the wires and reset the codes.
Otherwise I'd be thinking the O2 sensor and/or wiring are bad.

Replace the O2 sensor. Clean the wires and plugs tips with contact cleaner. Then a dab of dielectric grease and be on you way.

OReilly's will have my new 02 sensor today. The Spark plugs and wires were perfectly fine.

I got the new O2 sensor put in and just after install there were a couple more misfires, same side. I am going to wait and see what happens on a test drive tomorrow. The P0160 definitely meant I needed the O2 sensor and I am hoping/guessing that is what the misfires were.

Next I would think Coilpack would be the obvious culprit as the misfires are all on the passenger side.

The muffler guy who got the O2 sensor out in about 5 minutes let me know the rest of my exhaust is good. I was planning on changing it out, but aside from looking like crap it's ok. So, new bumpers it will be.

New coil isn't it. One coil doesn't doesn't control an entire bank of cylinders. http://www.wicasta.com/blogs/wp-cont...iscoveryIC.jpg

Clear the codes and drive it.

Drove around all morning, and no codes, so am going to head to Minneapolis from Chicago tomorrow. Hopefully, all goes well. When I get there the brakes, and cooling system are getting overhauled and the oil pan is getting a new gasket.
