So I went a little crazy on Lucky 8 today. Ordered a Terrafirma 3" kit, stabilizer, front steel front bumper and d-rings, 16x7 steelies and a couple of window regulators, headlight and headlight trim pieces. Won't have much more beyond that!

The 3 inch lift looks really good on these trucks with the right sized tire.

I have the same TF kit and love it with the exception that the shocks seem to ride a little rougher than I thought they would. Could be my expectations are misplaced. I have heard that the TF shocks seem to wear faster than OME and some of the other pricier options.

And, nice find. That's a good looking truck.

I'm looking forward to hearing how your bumper installation goes. Let us know if you run into problems.

LOL, not at all. In fact she enables me. I definitely married well. Some of her past cars, FYI:

And she even Club Races with me with BMW CCA:

So yeah, we spend all of our extra money on cars. It's actually not a good thing as neither of us ever say "no" to car modifications, as silly as they may be.

I understand completely. Mine used to enable me when she was working but now with a 2 year old she is a stay at home mom and still loves her BMW's but she wants the new discovery. I told her I want mine fixed up first. I'm trying. Would be easier when she goes back to work then I can have fun again

No issue at all for me. Trimmed the vertical area on the bottom of the grille and otherwise straight on, reusing factory hardware and tow hook bracket. Took 3 of us an hour, would take 30mins. next time.

Couple of pics during and after install. Headlight trim was busted prior and new ones are in the mail, so I didn't bother reinstalling. The Brit Part bumper wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

D-rings are in the mail too. Going to figure out a way to mount lights and I'll be installing a winch before Spring. Crossmember will definitely have to go then.

One reason your bumper installation went more smoothly than mine may be that the bumper you bought is the Britpart bumper, not the Terrafirma.

Oh crap! Brain fart. I ordered so much stuff over the course of just a few days from so many vendors that I misspoke. Sorry!
