Why do you think it is your Cats. Are you getting any codes? Mileage? When was the last real tuneup with new wires?

Don't think, give us more information. What year, model and mileage, what octane gas do you run, when was it last tuned and what fault codes do you have??

Download the rave cd for location of fuel pump, pretty cheap to replace in a DI. If those are your original cats they are getting towards the end of their life but if they were bad you would see some sort of an O2 sensor code. They should have some some life left in them though. Also you could hit them with a mallet and see if the insides rattle. What kind of wires are on there now? OEM or some aftermarket brand?
