Was working in the woods this morning when lightning started hitting pretty close - close enough to make the hair on my arms stand up and I could taste the metal in my fillings. Not being in particularly good standing with He who must be obeyed, I decided it was time to pack up and head out. This is a video of my escape - nothing particularly exciting but a good sample of the conditions we off-road in down south. This was climbing up a small hill, first part is about a 30 degree slope and it flattens out at the end. I love the sound of the Disco in low range. You'll also hear the TC kicking in, thunder, and the mud under the tires. By the time I got the chain back up across the entrance and hit the dirt road, the bottom dropped out. Had to wait five minutes for it to slack off enough to see beyond the hood.
