In a pinch?? you can probably source a fan and clutch from a Chevy Astro Van, is what I am running on my 2003 D2. 180 thermostat and so far not heating issues.

hey guys, thanks for the replies,

The fan clutch for sure and i think fan was replaced 55,000 miles ago. It may have been the shroud, although I'm pretty sure it was secure. I may delete what's left of the shroud.

I don't have pics, It's at the shop, but it looks like a fan with all the blades sheared off.

I'm gonna replace the fan clutch as well in case that was the issue.

I drive across country a bunch so I do everything i can to keep it up to date

yes I was headed uphill just before exit 172 on the GSP when it blew. I have driven this D2 from CT to california and back 3 times in the past 3 years, and one trip back from cali towed the largest enclosed uhaul trailer loaded with about 2000 pounds, all with no major trouble

i'll have the shop check the water pump as well

the hood is dented

all the best

it an 03/04 you have no choice but to replace the fan and clutch they are a one piece unit, which is why I made the suggestion early
